Method K9 Dog Training & Rehabilitation
Alexandria completed the Method K9 Shadow Program. This program focused on building training foundations, basic and advanced obedience with leash skills and e-collar applications, understanding dog behavior and dog psychology, and learning how to implement concepts for behavioral rehabilitation for cases of fear, anxiety, aggression, reactivity, resource guarding, etc.

Alexandria completed the Method K9 Shadow Program 2.0 which dove deeper into the history of domestication of dogs from wolves, understanding dogs primal drives on a deeper level including a deep dive on the predation cycle, hormone physiology, motivation, dog socialization, and more. These courses have both didactic and practical components in order to grow professionaly as a dog trainer and educator.
Rutgers University
Alexandria holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers University. She has a diverse and dynamic career history. She has spent most of her healthcare career working in orthopedics, where her most exciting role was with Howard Head Sports Medicine in Vail Valley, Colorado. In this unique position, she had the privilege of treating patients of varying acuity levels, hailing from all over the world. Alexandria's Physical Therapy career took her on exciting journeys, including travel assignments across the United States, with stops in Oregon and Vermont. Her career has encompassed a wide spectrum of patient demographics and clinical settings, from caring for infants in the NICU to elderly patients in nursing homes and everything between. Throughout her extensive career, Alexandria's ability to adapt and thrive in diverse environments has allowed her to connect with people from all walks of life.
Her diverse experiences have shaped her unique approach to balanced dog training, combining her expertise in working with people with a profound understanding of human and canine behavior. Alexandria's commitment to promoting a balanced and healthy lifestyle for both dogs and their owners makes her a valuable asset to the world of dog training.
Syracuse University
Alexandria holds a Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University, with a major in Health & Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. During her time at Syracuse, she excelled academically and received the Big East All-Academic Team award for her achievements as a competitive swimmer. Additionally, she volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, demonstrating her commitment to community service.
