What is an E collar ?

E stands for "Electronic" 

E collar (short for Electronic Collar) is essentially a blue tooth leash. The best part of E collar training is to have off leash reliability for safe and reliable off leash freedom to give your dog the best life he or she could have. 
 

It is NOT a "shock collar".

Does the brand matter? 

YES! This is very important.

 

We only use E collar Technologies brand. 
This is a medical grade technology that it uses muscle stimulation to communicate with our dogs.

What does Medical Grade Technology even mean?

Ever hear of a TENS unit or muscle stimulation? Our lead dog trainer Alexandria has a doctorate degree in physical therapy. For about 10 years she worked in the medical field using this same technology on patients to help reduce pain, improve blood flow and rate of healing and improve muscle function.  A common unit her patients would use at home to recreate the therapeutic effects is called a TENS unit.

Is E-Collar Training right for my dog? 

  • Yes ! E-collar training, when done correctly based on dog psychology is safe for dogs of all sizes, all breeds and ages 6 months and up 

  • What if my dog has behavioral problems ?

    • E collar training is a great communication tool to safely work through mindset challenges

    • If your dog has behavioral programs a board and train program is recommended for rehabilitation
